I've walked past the church many times and it's just magnificent. A real asset for the neighborhood. Really hope you succeed in restoring it.

It would be nice if anyone with the necessary skills could offer their time to help prevent further waterms damage. Any money being collected could the be used just for materials. Good luck with saving a very distinctive building.

Hello, I have just discovered your page and thought that you might like to know that George Baines & Sons specialised in Baptist Churches. There are two examples in Brighton...now called One Church but used to be Gloucester Place Baptist Church and Florence Road Baptist Church. There is a continuity of design with additional elements of Arts & Crafts in the interior and especially the stained glass windows! I believe that Ashwell Church is also connected. Good luck with your funding. Best wishes, Mrs Dudley

What a remarkable project, and such an admirable undertaking! Preserving the church and its history is so important -- much luck to you.
